Ugandan international Phillip Wokorach may be available for selection by Kabras ahead of the Christie and Dala 7s tournaments slated for Nairobi and Kisumu respectively.
The Uganda talisman missed the Prinsloo 7s in Nakuru as well as the Sepetuka 7s as he was involved with the national 7s team in the Oktoberfest tournament in Germany and he is as well set to feature for Uganda at this weekend’s Africa Cup 7s doubling up as world cup qualifiers.
Kabras coach Charles Cardovillis says that they may consider him for selection ahead of the remaining two legs of the sevens circuit.
“He (Wokorach) is on national duty and we hope that he can be available for Christie 7s or Dala because we have to give him time to rest since he will have played two weeks consecutively,”Cardovillis told Scrummage.
Wokorach return will be big boost for the side which will be seeking to defend the Christie 7s title which they won last season.
