Kabras RFC put up a clinical display to thrash neighbours Western Bulls 45-5 in a pool D clash at the ongoing Sepetuka 7s at the Eldoret Sports Club on Saturday,September 30.

The huge win ensures that Charles Cardovillis charges are through to tommorrow’s main cup quarter finals despite still having to face off against Strathmore Leos in the final pool D match.

Meanwhile,Quins rallied from 7-0 down to stage a comeback and trounce MKU Thika 33-7, a victory that secures them a last eight berth with a game to spare.

Sepetuka 7s hosts Homeboyz RFC also secured a quarter final place after condemning Mean Machine to their second loss of the day with a 26-12 thrashing.Homeboyz and Quins are now set to face off in the final pool C match which will decide the team that finishes top in the pool.

After being stunned by Mwamba in the opening match,KCB kept their cup quarter final hopes alive with a resounding 33-5 win over Catholic Monks in the second pool clash.

Impala Saracens managed to secure a cup quarter final slot after narrowly edging Mwamba 15-10 courtesy of tries by Mark Kwemoi,Derrik Mayar and Davies Makori as Alex Aturo and Marvin Odiembo but that was not enough as they will have to wait for their final pool A match against KCB a contest which they must win to secure a last eight berth.

Nakuru RFC claimed their first win of the tournament,puting aside memories of their 17-12 loss to neighbours Oilers as they brushed aside Nondies RFC 29-0 to remain on course for the cup quarter finals.

Menengai Oilers booked a main cup quarter final slot with a game to spare after the Gibson Weru-coached side labored to a 26-24 victory over Blak Blad.

After an early upset by Western Bulls,Strathmore Leos bounced back to trounce Makueni 26-14 in their second pool stage match of the day.
