Menengai Oilers head coach Gibson Weru has disclosed the area that his side must work on as they head to Eldoret for the fourth leg of the national sevens circuit, the Sepetuka 7s.

Oilers had a poor outing at the Prinsloo 7s where they lost to Impala in the Challenge trophy final and Weru admits that their defence was porous and they will be out to repair it at Sepetuka.

“Our systems are working but we still have work to do on our defence.. We shall be seeking to strengthen our defence because we have witnessed lapses in concentration on some occasions,”Weru told Scrummage.

Oilers are in pool B at the Sepetuka 7s where they will face neighbours Top Fry Nakuru RFC,Blak Blad and Nondies.
