Sportpesa Quins Head coach Joash Odhalo has admitted that they performed below their standards even though they did better than the first two legs.
Quins had a good start in their games beating Western Bulls 17-5, Mwamba 33-22 but fell to Menengai Oilers 12-5 in the final game. On the final day they were knocked out of the Main Cup after falling to Strathmore Leos.
Odhalo is impressed with the contribution of National team players Eden Agero and Frank Wanyama and he believes that they will be more improved on the final legs.
“Prinsloo was not a good outing by our standards, we however went a step higher than the first two leg. We’ve noted a few areas we need to concentrate on especially on individual errors. It was good to have the national team boys back; being their first tournament they did well with Eden making the dream team.We have made the task harder but i believe the lads are up to challenge and hopefully win at least two of the remaining 3 legs.” Odhalo told Quins media.
Quins will be playing against Homeboyz, MKU Thika and Mean Machine in the Sepetuka 7s in Eldoret.
