National 7s Series defending Champions Homeboyz Rugby have made a return to the top of Series standings despite failing to reach the finals of the Prinsloo 7s.
The Deejays fell at the semifinal stage of the competition to hosts Nakuru RFC but were able to beat Strathmore Leos for a podium finish which earned them 17 points.
Paul Murunga’s side has 51 points, five more than what Nakuru RFC has.Nakuru is placed second after having appeared in the Driftwood 7s and Prinsloo final, earning 19 points in each final.
After failing to impress in Nakuru, Oilers only got seven points and have dropped to the third position on the standings with 43 points.
KCB’s triumph in Nakuru saw them amass 22 points and they are tied at 42 points with Impala Saracens who only managed eight points at Prinsloo.
Kabras is placed sixth after collecting 13 points in Nakuru. The teams will be back in action next weekend for Sepetuka 7s which will be in Eldoret.
