Menengai Oilers captain Harold Anduvate has heaped praise on his coach Gibson Weru and attributed their wonderful display in the sevens circuit to him.

The former Kenya 7s international led the nationwide side to a third place finish at the Driftwood 7s in Mombasa before going all the way to the cup final at Kabeberi and captain Anduvate attributes all this to their coach.

“The coach has been so good to us players..he has been like a father and a mentor to us..he has always told us to go out there and have fun on the field and at the same time express our abilities”Anduvate told Scrummage.

Oilers will be out to impress once again at the Prinsloo 7s where they have landed Mwamba RFC,Sportpesa Quins and Western Bulls in pool B.
