Menengai Oilers will be out to continue with their fine run when the third leg of the national sevens circuit, the Prinsloo 7s takes centre stage on the weekend of September 23-24 at the Nakuru Athletic Club.

Oilers had a dream start to the national sevens circuit, finishing third at Driftwood before going all the way to the cup final at the Kabeberi 7s where they lost to Impala Saracens and head coach Gibson Weru says that they must be consistent in all the legs if not posting an improvement.

“All we want is consistency in all the remaining legs of the sevens circuit that we shall take part in..we want to keep on improving and so far we are on the right track..we shall hope for a better showing in Nakuru,” Weru told Scrummage.

At the Prinsloo 7s,Oilers are top seeds in pool B where they are scheduled to lock horns against struggling bigwigs Mwamba RFC,SportPesa Quins and Western Bulls.
