Oilers coach hails Kabeberi 7s MVP

Menengai Oilers’ head coach Gibson Weru has heaped praise on Skipper Harold Aduvate after his stellar perfomance at the Kabeberi 7s saw him walk away with two awards.
The former Menengai High school player was in superb form at the concluded Kabeberi 7s as he was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) as well as the top tries scorer and Weru believes that the youngster’s future is bright.
“Harold is a special player..he is my captain who leads from the front and a leader for the rest of the team and he has a very bright future ahead if we mentor him properly,”said Weru.
Aduvate will be remembered by a lot of rugby enthusiasts for scoring a solo effort try at the sound of the hooter against Strathmore Leos in the cup semis to send the Oilers to the Kabeberi 7s final.
