Kabras RFC head coach Charles Cardovillis says that they seek to strengthen their sevens squad with the addition of Kenya 7s duo of Brian Tanga and Dan Sikuta.
Kabras had a false start in this year’s national 7s circuit as they could only manage to claim the plate title at the Driftwood 7s in Mombasa last weekend.
Speaking to the Scrummage, Cardovillis said that the two players have massive experience having featured for the national side and they will be looking upon them to guide the youngsters in subsequent sevens legs.
“We still have some players that we are yet to incorporate in the squad..Daniel Sikuta and Brian Tanga..they are national team players and their experience will come in handy in ensuring some of the players who are featuring in Kabras colours for the first time adapt,”said Cardovillis.
Heading to this weekend’s Kabeberi 7s,the Sugarmillers are set to renew their rivalry against Strathmore Leos whom they beat in Mombasa last weekend. Also in the same pool as Kabras is surprise package Mean Machine and newbies Makueni RFC.
