Mwamba admits difficulty in adjusting to new rules

Mwamba RFC head coach Kevin Wambua says that they will have to go back to the drawing board and work on their understanding of the new rules introduced by the World Rugby.
Speaking after the side clinched the Challenge trophy at the Driftwood 7s,Wambua said that the new rules worked against them especially during breakdowns and they will be hoping to improve on that.
“A few areas i have talked to the boys about..the new rules really messed us up at Driftwood in terms of breakdown..we have to go back to the drawing board and understand the rules,”said Wambua.
“We came with a positive attitude on the second day and that is why we had a better perfomance than the first day..winning the Challenge trophy here is a big motivation going to our home tournament (Kabeberi),”he added.
Mwamba, hosts of this weekend’s Kabeberi 7s are in pool A alongside Driftwood 7s champions Homeboyz RFC,Nondies and invited side Daystar Falcons.
