Western Bulls:Our aim at Driftwood was main cup

Despite his side clinching the shield title at last weekend’s Driftwood 7s in Mombasa,Western Bulls head coach Howard Okwemba was not a satisfied man.
Western Bulls had a tough tournament after loosing all their pool A matches to eventual cup winners Homeboyz,Nakuru RFC as well as Blak Blad.
Speaking to the Scrummage, Okwemba said that he was not satisfied with the kind of results posted by his boys as they had prepared to reach the main cup semis.
“Definitely not the kind of perfomance we wanted because we had prepared to at least make it to the main cup semi final but we were not able to,so its back to the drawing board as we hope to improve next weekend,”said Okwemba.
Western Bulls is among the four teams that will be taking part in the Division two tournament at Kabeberi 7s after facing the axe from the Divison one.
“Being the shorter version of the game,we never had enough matches to gauge our progress but this tournament (Driftwood) has given us a pointer to where we must work on,”he added.
