Nakuru RFC head coach Mitch Ocholla is an impressed man after guiding his side to the Driftwood 7s final.
Speaking after the end of the cup final where his side gave away a lead to loose 17-7 to Homeboyz, Ocholla said that he was impressed with the fight put up by his charges considering that most of them graduated from age grade rugby.
“Most of this boys have moved from age grade rugby, having made it to the final is a big plus for us,”said Ocholla.
He further went ahead to add that Homeboyz beat them due to some lapses of concentration.
“We had lapses in concentration here and there and those are some of the areas we should work on,” he concluded.
Despite falling at the final stage,Nakuru’s players Geoff Ominde and Monate Akwei made it to the team of the tournament after putting up stellar performances at the two day tournament.
