Kenya Simbas captain Wilson Kopondo attributed their loss to Hong Kong to the many school boy errors the team committed.
Speaking at the RFUEA grounds on Saturday after the clash, the Kenya Harlequins player lamented about their weaknesses as a team which he said they must work on.
“We committed a lot of school boy errors so we have to go back to the drawing board and work on our setpiece particularly our scrums where our weaknesses have been exposed,” Said Kopondo.
-We hoped to end our season on a high particularly being our last home match but it wasn’t to be.
-Hong Kong had two quick tries which really killed us. We knew they would have come hard at us having been used to the country’s climate after a one week stay.”
The Simbas will now shift focus to the invitational tournament, the Hong Kong Nations Cup slated for November where they will come up against hosts Hong Kong,Russia and South American side Chile.
