Kenyan side Muhuri Muchiri Secondary are the new rugby sevens champions of the East Africa Secondary School games.

The Nairobi based side managed to wallop Uganda’s Jinja 14-7 in a final staged in Gulu-Uganda on Friday 25 August to clinch the title for the first time ever in the school’s history.

The Kikechi Kombo coached side managed to score their tries courtesy of star player Kevin Agwambo and Martin Mutiso while Hammon waamalwa converted both.

Here is Muhuri Muchiri’s journey to their maiden East Africa title:
