Wilson Kopondo believes that the Kenya Simbas must rectify their weak areas before taking on Namibia in Windhoek on Saturday 29 July 2017.
The match will have a lot of significance as the winner will most likely be crowned the Africa Gold Cup champion and Kopondo does not want to leave anything to chance.
Speaking after after Simbas routed Zimbabwe Sables 41-22,the skipper said that they are aware of the significance of the clash and they will have to sort out their nitty gritties before taking on the South African country.
“We still have a mammoth game against Namibia and we know they are a good side.Knowing Namibia, they will come hard at us so we we have to polish our areas of weakness before the match,”he said.
After the Zimbabwe win,the Simbas maintained second position on the log three points shy off leaders Namibia who trounced Uganda Cranes in Kampala.
