Laiser Hill Academy has been disqualified from the forthcoming East Africa Secondary school games slated for August in Uganda with their place being taken by St.Mary’s Yala.

It is understood that St.Mary’s Yala who finished fourth at the national games held in April had filed an official complaint against Laiser Hill in what was termed as fielding ineligible players.

In a communication through their social media platform,the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports association (KSSSA) confirmed the schools to represent Kenya in the regional showpiece with Laiser Hill’s name missing.

In rugby 15s, Kenya is set to be represented by national champions Kakamega High School,Upper Hill and St. Mary’s Yala as Menengai High School,Chavakali and Muhuri Muchiri carry the country’s flag in the shorter version of the game.

The games are set to be held in Gulu,Ugada starting 14th August 2017 and conclude on 27th August.
