Uganda captain optimistic of upsetting Namibia despite underdog tag

Uganda Cranes captain Brian Odongo is optimistic that the side has what it takes to get all maximum points from Saturday’s Africa Gold Cup tie against Namibia.
Speaking to the Daily Monitor after their 78-17 demolition of Tunisia in Kampala, the veteran prop said that they will be targetting a win and all they need to do is have composure like they have done previously.
“We are under dogs but we are in for a win. We should relax and not put ourselves under any pressure but carry on like we have been doing every other game,” Odongo said.
The last time Uganda Cranes played Namibia in Kampala was last year and the Cranes lost the tie 40-31.They will however be buoyed by their recent form which has seen them remain unbeaten in the Africa Gold Cup and lying in 3rd position on the log.
