Uganda Cranes assistant coach Robert Sseguya says that his charges cannot afford to underrate their Saturday opponents Tunisia when the sides step foot at the Legends Rugby grounds in Kampala.
Despite the fact that the North African side has succumbed to two heavy losses in their opening matches against Namibia and Kenya Simbas,Sseguya belives that they cannot afford to be complacent ahead of Saturday’s encounter keeping in mind that the Cranes are yet to beat Tunisia in the past 3 encounters between the sides.
“This is going to be the hardest game for us so far,”Sseguya told New Vision Uganda.“Everybody must know it’s not about what happened in the last game. I saw that game and it was just a few mistakes that cost them. Today if those teams played again, it would probably be a different story,”the tactician further added.
About the team,Sseguya said that every player had belief in themselves and that is why they are currently on a good run.”This team has the belief that they can make it,that’s what makes them special,”he concluded.
Uganda will be hoping to return to the summit of the Africa Gold Cup with a win on Saurday as they currently lie in 3rd position on the 6 team log.
