Former Kenya Cup Champions Nakuru Rugby Club are likely to be less active in the ongoing transfer window.
The 2013 and 2014 Kenya Cup Champions have hinted that they will keep faith in their youthful squad that participated in the Kenya Cup 2016/17 season.
“We are keeping faith in young players who served us well during the 15s season. I believe we have a strong squad to challenge for trophies in coming 7s series,” Nakuru secretary Davis Gwada told the Scrummage.
Nakuru RFC may however be forced to bring in few new faces to replace Mike Okombe, Coleman Were and Charlton Mokua who are being hunted by Kabras.
Despite the club maintaining that the Okombe and Were are still with the side, reports from Kakamega indicate that the two have set their feet at the Sugarmen base.
Nakuru RFC finished seventh last season and missed the playoff.
