Kenya Simbas forwards tactician Dominique Habimana is excited with the team’s progress as far as the new structures put in place are concerned.
Speaking to KRU,the former Nakuru RFC head coach said that the players are adapting well to the new structures put in place and all they are left with now is to improve on their workrate.
“We are getting structures for this year in place and the boys are getting comfortable with them,”said Habimana.”We want to raise our workrate so that we can rise above the competition,”Habimana said.
On the past matches 3 that have seen the Simbas narrowly fall to Germany before beating Uganda Cranes in Kampala and drawing in Nairobi,Habimana said that they were not satisfied yet by the lucklustre perfomance by the boys.
“We are competitive and we need to ruck in the wins. The first game against Germany was a one pointer,we won the seccond game and drew the other and we know that all those were tight games,”he concluded.
Kenya Simba will tackle Tunisia this weekend in the second tie of the Africa Gold Cup at RFUEA Grounds.
