Nationwide side Northern Suburbs has qualified for the semi finals of the ongoing Embu 7s after upsetting Kenya Cup side Nondies RFC 15-0 in the quarter final earlier today at the Embu stadium.
Northern Suburbs had started off their campaign on a wrong footing on Saturday after they were walloped 38-0 by a star-studded samurai 7s squad.They then redeemed themselves with a resounding 41-0 win against Embu Select to make it to the last eight.
Also through to the last eight is Strathmore Leos who managed to see off Meru RFC 28-0 in another last eight encounter.In the pool stage matches,Leos had started off on a high note beating Kiambu rfc 29-5,before brushing aside Chuka Vikings 26-5.
Other quarter finals of the day will see highly fancied side Samurai 7s tackle Embu RFC as Catholic University Monks entertain Kiambu RFC.
