Impala prop:Wasted opportunities cost us the Kenya cup

Impala Saracens prop Dennis Karani feels that losing possession and wasting opportunities was their major undoing in 2016/17 Kenya Cup season.
Karani said that his team put up weak line outs and never took advantage of opportunities they had to score tries, mistakes they intend to iron out ahead of 2017/18 season.
Lost possession
“Our line out was dysfunctional(both attack and defence) we lost a lot of possession at that area plus wasted many try scoring opportunities. These we need to work on during the 2017/18 pre season period”,said Karani.
The Saracens player who has more than 10 years experience in the rugby field  looks up to his club captain Duncan Ekasi whom he says posses great work ethics and dedication.
“His work ethic and dedication to the the club despite him raising a young family, juggling school and work. Quite commendable!”,said Karani.
Karani is currently with the Kenya 15’s team in Uganda for Elgon Cup set for Saturday,10th June.
