Why KCB Skipper was recalled to Kenya 15s

Hard work and determination at club level has been termed as the reason behind the recalling of Kenya Cup and Enterprise winning captain Curtis Lilako to the National team
The KCB forward had initially been omitted in the final squad for upcoming international duty and missed the South Africa trip plus the first international test against Germany.
Hard work
According to Kenya 15s Team Manager Wangila Simiyu the player’s impressive performance in their 2016/2017 dounle success was enough to earn him a return to the squad.
“Lilako returns to the squad on merit. He has worked hard at club level, and has been an intergal part of his team’s league and cup double this season, Wangila told KRU.
Lilako has been a regular in Kenya’s front row for the past years and his last appearance for Kenya saw them pick  34-10 win over Hong Kong at RFUEA Grounds.
