Kakamega,Laiser Hill To Be Feted


Reigning KSSSA rugby XV’s champions Kakamega school and Laiser Hill Academy will be feted by the Kenya Rugby Union as part of the legacy activities planned for Saturday¬†ahead of the Tatu city series pitting hosts Kenya against Germany.
The two giants in high school rugby will be recognized for their contribution to the growth and development of the game in the country.They recently clashed at the final of the Kenya Secondary schools Sports Asssociation Term 1 games where the ‘Barbarians’ won by 18 points to 14 to be crowned national champions for the first time in 4 years.
Both Kakamega and Laiser Hill have over the past years produced notable Alumni such as Homeboyz RFC head coach Paul Murunga,Emmanuel Shitote,Brian Nyikuli,Bush Mwale,Steve Anthony to name but a few all of whom have donned the national team colours at different levels.
