Enterprise Cup defending Champions KCB will welcome Blak Blad on Saturday at KCB Sports club.
It will be a repeat of last season Quarter-finals and KCB will be seeking to win the title for the third time in a row. These two sides last faced off in February on matchday 11 of the Kenya Cup competition and KCB thrashed Blad 47-0. Last season meeting in Enterprise cup saw KCB win 36-8.
Bye in quarters
KCB rested last weekend having been given a bye in the pre-quarters. Fresh from a Kenya Cup triumph they will be keen to win the quarters and liven their chance of picking a double this year. The Kenya Cup Champions will miss the services of scintillating full back Darwin Mukidza who will be on duty with Kenya 7s. Other players that will miss the clash included Moses Amusala, George Asin, David Chenge, Peter Karia, Oscar Simiyu and Peter Kilonzo as they will be travelling to South Africa for Kenya 15s camp.
Blad will be oozing with confidence coming to this clash having eliminated Mwamba to join the quarters. Under the leadership former Kenya 15s head coach Michael Tank Otieno who helped them avoid relegation, the students will be eager to upset the KCB that missing seven key names.
Impala vs Quins
Another Ngong road derby is here! The previous two meetings this season have been in Kenya Cup and Quins won the first leg 28-10 before confirming the dominance in the second leg with a 36-26 win in the second leg. Having missed to win the Kenya Cup both side will hoping to scoop the enterprise title to avoid going trophy less.
Impala has reached the last two semifinals of the enterprise cup and will be hoping to do so for the third time in a row by eliminating neighbors Quins. They miss the services of Dennis Karani, Simon Miniafu, Eric Kerre, James Kubasu, Sam Onsomu and Leo Seje in this clash.
Quins have failed to reach the semis of the last two competitions, they will be seeking to end the run without the help of David Ambunya, Isaac Adimo, Dennis Muhanji, Patrice Agunda who are away on international duty. The beat Nakuru 28-20 to join the Quarters.
