Late heartbreak for determined Kenya 7s in Singapore

Kenya succumbed  to a late penalty from Dan Bibby and lost 13-12 to England 7s in Singapore 7s quarter finals.
Defending Champions Shujaa looked determined from kick off and punished England with a try at the fourth minute of the game. This after Eden Agero picked Dan Norton’s kick and stepped then set up Sammy Oliech who scored and converted his own try.
At the sixth minute Rodwel James was sin binned after an intentional knock and Kenya utilized the one man advantage and scored through Frank Wanyama but the failed to get conversion right.
Phil Burgess pulled one back for England but Bibby failed to convert the try. In the second half Norton touched down England’s second try that also went unconverted.

Kenya continued to fight hard to keep a two point lead but conceded a penalty in the last second of the game. Bibby step up and converted it to send his side to the semis.
Kenya will now face New Zealand the the fifth place battle.
