Kakamega beats hosts Patch as Laiser, Upperhill win big


East African rugby 15s champions Kakamega School started off National School title campaign with a hard fought 11-3 win over host Nairobi School in a match played at Tuesday.
The Barbarians managed just one try and two penalties that saw the overcome Patch to win the match played at 1400 hours.
in another Pool B, Laiser Hill touched down 10 times to beat Galana School 62-0 in a late kick off match played at the same venue.
In pool A Nyanza representatives St Mary’s Yala started of their quest for the National title on a high note thrashing Kangaru 52-3. The side managed to touch down in Kangaru’s try box eight times.
Upper Hill on the other hand managed beat Central region representative Alliance 26-3.
The second round of the matches will be played on Wednesday starting 0900 hours.
